Day 11 Level 3 Lockdown

It was an overcast, bleak morning, so we decided to leave our walk until later in the day.  This was a good decision because, late in the afternoon, the sky and sea were blue, the sun was shining and it was warm enough for a short-sleeve T shirt.

The blip was taken from a track along the top of the cliff between Glendowie Road and Clouston Street and, for me, shows the afternoon off to perfection.

There were 27 new community cases today. And around 2,000 people broke all the rules and gathered together to protest against the lockdown, mostly ignoring social distancing and not wearing masks.  It was an insult to all those who are sticking to the rules and hoping we move down to Level 2 on Wednesday.  That is probably now in jeopardy thanks to their actions.
