Geese

Back to work, back to reality.  It was my first day in my new role and I was busy.  Busy doing some of my old role and having introductory meetings with my new teams.  I was bombarded with information, but I doubt I have retained it.  I need to get doing stuff in my new areas of responsibility to start getting me up to speed.  On top of all this I had more IT troubles.  Different from last week, but equally annoying and frustrating.
I didn’t make it out at lunchtime today which was a shame as it looked like a lovely day.
After tea I went out for a walk in the dark as I am determined to keep my steps up if I can.
It’s that time of year when there are a lot of geese overhead.
