Tom is 17 today. Can’t believe it’s 17 years ago that I drove his mum to the maternity hospital at Leicester Royal where John was anxiously waiting.
I first saw Tom, along with John’s mum, in the delivery room when he was about half an hour old. A magical moment. They only allowed the 2 grandmas in there to visit. It’s been lovely to watch him grow into a handsome young man. Currently studying music technology and performance, and loving it. Still wild about the 70s. And he loved his waistcoat - why did I think it’d be too big..?
