Wide Wednesday: Geometric/Architectural

I met up with former colleagues today for lunch, the first time that I have been able to do so since the start of the pandemic.  Its rare for any of them to work in the office now, let alone for all 5 of them to be there on the same day.  There would have been a sixth but sadly she currently has covid style symptoms - it may just be a cold but with the uncertainties around conflicting lateral flow and PCR tests in the South West it was felt best if she stayed at home.

We had a very pleasant lunch sitting outside in the occasional sunshine catching up on news and gossip. It really was lovely to see them and learn that everything seems to be going well for all of them.

Afterwards, I popped up the road to the University to take this shot of the Life Sciences building.  Rob of RobBris50 fame has featured this several times so I am following in his footsteps here, but it was the obvious choice for such bright high contrast conditions.
