Quacking

En route home, I passed this trio of mallards on the north bank of the Thames. I stopped to blip them and then I realised that I had half a hot cross bun in my bag - a leftover from breakfast. What better use of an unwanted hot cross bun than to feed it to three enthusiastic drakes. The one in the back of this blip ate most of it since he made sure that the other two didn't get a look in even though I tried my best to include them. The bossy drake always got there first - sometime right to my hand.

The feeding of the ducks caught the interest of a passing family and I was suddenly in the middle of a photoshoot. I'll be known in German as 'Strange duck lady by the Thames' in an album somewhere.
