My tennis club will be celebrating its centenary next year. Up until 1955 the club held an annual open competition which in its time drew entries from some of the top British players. In 1929, at the age of 20, none other than Fred Perry won his first ever open title at the club. Five years later he won the first of his three Wimbledon singles titles. The main shot shows the men's singles panel of the club's oldest honours board, the extra is of the whole board
