Hanging by a Thread

I met a Jumping spider hanging by a thread.
The spider must have captured a blue bottle fly up on the roof gutter and in the ensuing battle fell off the edge.
The epic struggle was still ongoing when Kathy called me over to have a look.
A most intense wildlife story played out before our eyes.
