Jesus wants me for a sunbeam

Douglas's Aunt Nan' funeral was today and when we left the church this was playing.
Douglas explained that when he was a wee lad in Motherwell his Aunt taught him this.
My friendship with Douglas, who now lives in New Jersey was started here on Blip a couple of years ago, when I blipped Langbank where his Mum lived and he spotted it.
Since then we have become great pals.
I was very honoured when Aunt Betty,Aunt Nan's twin sister, asked if I would be a pall bearer.
Both sisters looked upon Douglas as the son they never had as neither married
They lived together all their life of almost 85 years.
It was a sad day ,but a great tribute to Nan who was a truly wonderful lady
