Exit Stage Left

I first joined the Open University in 1995, left briefly in 1998, then rejoined in 1999, and have been there in various roles and jobs until today.

I had a beautiful sunny morning drive for my final commute to Milton Keynes, and the pleasure of hearing (and indeed reading) many warm words about what I (and my various teams) have achieved over the years.

I wish my colleagues every continued success as I move on to try new things.

Afterthought. After I'd given this blip a title, I googled it. Apparently "Exit Stage Left" means "An orderly and uneventful departure, timed so as not to detract or distract." Not so sure about that.
