Topped the simnel cakes today. They look even worse now. Never again am I toasting marzipan.

K-Rog came round for lunch/ the afternoon. A bit of a trek to my house but she made it. We made some amazing squidgy brownies, did some knitting (slash I undid most of mine), played boggle, had a quick jam sesh and disagreed on how to say roley poley. Twas nice.

Now to pack again for the next two weeks.
