A very active day with Drake. Playing in the woods while his dad joined park run. He’s just spotted Mike go by here ( getting a PB too, despite falling over).
Then off to join in with the under 8’s football training. Hilarious …. Like herding cats ! He enjoyed what he did.
Building things with Mike in the workshop .. a pretty good toy plane was created .
Then to the stables and he worked really hard, mucking out, sweeping, feeding horses, dogs, hens and ducks. He was very pleased with his egg from the chickens . Susan gave him a beautiful Canadian indigenous activity book …. I’ll be helping with some of the colouring of the animals, reminds me of Maori art.
Mountains of sausage, mash and veg for dinner .
