One of my favourite valleys. The view from Beda Fell across to the Nab and Rest Dodd with the line of the high street fells behind. From here you can understand why the Romans had a road up there. After what feels like a week of rain it’s great to get out on a sunny autumn day with beautiful light and colours. Extra is looking towards the Helvellyn range
