Winterfield

Being able to take this shot today was a somewhat significant day of independence  for me as for the last four weeks I have been pretty well confined to barracks in order to let my  quadriceps tendon rebuild itself after knee surgery. Yesterday I saw the consultant and he modified my leg brace to allow a 90 degree bend in the leg and some flexibility which in turn allows me to get into the car and drive. I still have to use crutches but it was bright enough today to hand hold the camera in any case.

This shot was taken from the car park at the Bridge to Nowhere looking upwards to Winterfield golf course. The building in the photo is the clubhouse which sits atop the cliffs overlooking Belhaven Bay
