Reflection

After virtual supervision meetings with PhD students M at 09:00, then J, and И, by 11:30 I was wiped out. I'm definitely jaded from weeks of work, broken only by walking with the dog, the odd bike ride, or watching sport. Overall I can't regret the life I've got, and I guess that largely living in the attic for the past 18 months has been just a bit too much of a good thing!

Mid-afternoon I went into Edinburgh and, before shopping I got a few minutes of fresh air in Inch Park. I'd wanted to take a photo of the trees near Inch House, but the composition didn't please me. Then I turned, and saw Arthur's Seat framed appealingly between two lovely trees. I could have done without the small conifer, but life's not perfect!
