Room with a view

Mike and Gerda invited Arnie’s squash team mates for a braai to “celebrate” the end of one league as another is just starting.

They have a spectacular view over Joburg CBD, and Sandton but we only saw that later when the massive thunderstorm moved away from us. Lots of laughs and banter. It felt almost like life was almost normal!

Back home, a bit later than planned, for our now monthly online gathering which was fun until Eishkom switched off our power just after midnight. At least that seems to the last outage until early on Sunday morning.

It’s been a great day.
