RHEA

The Rhea (Rhea americana) a flightless bird, is a distant cousin of Ostriches and Emus but is native to South America, restricted to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.....in places where there are open grasslands.

"For the most part, rheas are vegetarian and prefer broad-leafed plants but they also eat fruits, seeds and roots, as well as insects such as grasshoppers and small reptiles and rodents.[9] Young rheas generally eat only insects for the first few days. Outside of the breeding season they gather in flocks and feed with deer and cattle".....wiki

They are nowhere near as large as ostriches and emus. A big one would weigh less than 100 pounds (roughly 45kg).

This one is doing a little grooming.

Best in Large.
