Tiny but formidable

I was in my garden photographing gardenia flowers when this insect wandered into the frame. It's small, about 20 mm across, including the legs. My guess is Assassin Bug, but I'm happy to be corrected. Wikipedia says that:


most members of the family are fairly easily recognizable; they have a relatively narrow neck, sturdy build, and formidable curved proboscis.
