Autumn sunshine

Some nice, unexpected (un-forecast) sunshine today, making the Japanese maple look very lovely in its autumnalness.  As usual, half the tree is reddening and emptying of leaves and the other half is still green.

Had a decent work day, though another busy one.  After a meeting this afternoon, I decided to pop out to make the most of the last bit of daylight.  Posted a letter (for work) then carried on to the heath (for me).  Just a quick loop though, then straight back to it.
