After foraging

This strange mixed spring continues, with a couple of seasons in one day today - some hours of bright sunlight, followed by dark clouds, cold wind and rain, and a brief reappearance of the sun as it was setting over the hills this evening. E is a determined forager, especially for wild asparagus, and this morning she took us to a place she and S had noted as promising when they were out walking at Christmastime. She and LoJ picked a large bunch of asparagus that we'll eat this evening, while I found wild juniper berries, fennel and thyme. This evening we had an easier foraging trip, to buy goats' cheese at Mas Rolland, and to see the new kids, including two that had been born this afternoon. The light was lovely on the way home. Now to make paella for supper, having hoped to make it in the garden at lunchtime, but the weather didn't cooperate.
