"Too little too late"? 
Grumble alert.
For years before "they" started bemoaning the excess of plastic(s), disregard the Number of uses, just "Plastic". 
I've been saying 
"Why do they continue to use poppable bubble plastic, there must have been something of use before plastic?"
Well - it appears there is - it's called "Paper." Amazing EH?
I learnt, recently, there's a better than fair chance that "flushable" packaging pellets, which do decompose, may contain microplastics - like the so-called Flushable "Wet Wipes" currently clogging the Sewage system.
