Bass Boy

Duncan and I spent the day in Edinburgh checking out bass guitars in the music shops. We had a great time, and Duncan liked this Hofner Ignition Violin Bass best. It sounds good, it's light and that unique look appeals to him. It's also the type of bass Paul McCartney plays so it can't be half bad!

Big Bass.

The folks in Red Dog Music were really welcoming and let us sit around trying out dozens basses that cost up to £2000. What beautiful instruments! Then we moved on to guitars, synthesisers... and dragged ourselves away with only a kazoo for £1 :)

I back-blipped yesterday after I got home late. I took the little Brompton on the train to Alnmouth and spent the afternoon cycling up and down Route 1 along the Northumberland coast.
