British Summertime

We were rudely awakened by bright sunshine streaming through the curtains and then discovered it was already an hour later than we thought because the clocks had gone forward. So after breakfasting we headed northwards; a relatively easy drive due to the lack of traffic. We were getting bored of the motorway by the time we got to Moffat, so turned off to do the last bit of the journey the scenic way - after all, we had that extra hour of light if not sun (and certainly not summer).

This was taken from near the Grey Mare's Tail looking back down the glen towards Moffat.
