The Lonelyness of the Riverside Runner

My last walk by the river today, very cold and not many folk about, the dustbin men were emptying the big bins which I thought strange on a bank holiday morning, but they were also having a full English breakfast before they left.
The only other person about was this guy having a run by the river Avon, he was puffing well but keeping a fair speed up.

We left around 1:00pm as we had to do some shopping but the weather was still very cold and we had the van's heater on all night for the third night running.

On a brighter note the car gave a really good 30.5mpg towing the van which is about 3 mpg better than the BMW used to do, so I can't grumble.

On Friday we are off again in the caravan for a few days in Somerset with our Grand Daughter for a few days break.
