The visitor

This little starling decided that it would visit us this morning. I heard a noise from the bedroom and went to investigate and there is was flying at the mirror and the window trying to get out. After taking this pic, I opened the window as wide as it could go and it flew out.

Yesterday I lay in bed listening to one of these lovely little birds making all the noises under the sun (they mimic everything they hear) it was chirping, whisteling, cawing, etc etc and then it started to make the sound of our dog barking!! It certainly made me laugh.
