A dry day

After some torrential rain on Wednesday it was lovely to have a dry day. 
The garden designer came round to measure up and do a soil test in preparation for his plans for one border. We had a really good chat about some of his ideas and he kindly dug out some more of the bamboo roots in a different border.
I nibbled away some more at the roots after he left - it's such hard work! Took it easy for the rest of the day!
