The newbie

It's traditional in our house to buy one new decoration for the tree each year ( replaces the one I inevitably break!). This was this year's and was first to adorn the artificial branches. The tree is at least 13 years old and really a little beyond its best but I love it's not quite right look. 
Didn't manage to get the outside lights up as weather was dismal all day. Did however listen to Christmas tunes and have my first mince pie!
