This Moment

We were the first visitors of the morning in the gardens at Lowther Castle.

Feeling pretty fed up. Six weeks post-op and I'm still in pain, stitches haven't healed despite repeated suturing and I'm on a gut-busting cocktail of antibiotics.  And now isolating ahead of more surgery, when I will go to sleep without knowing what outcome I will wake up to.

To counteract this potentially over-shared moan, the glorious sun and  friendly robin lifted spirits,  along with the inversion thingy going on below the scar at Lowther.

This evening we wandered around the village on a treasure hunt light trail which was a delightful and wholesome end to the day.
