"It's my grans"

I saw Myah from across the pedestrian crossing and knew I had to ask for her picture. Thankfully, as she crossed she saw my intention and said "OK" straight away.

Up until now, most of my strangers have been oblivious to the surrounding people/crowds in the street, as I am when taking pictures. However, I got the impression that Myah was a little intimidated and as a consequence ended up looking down quite a bit. The one or two shots I got of her looking at the camera were obscured by the hat. So with little choice...here is the one worthy shot.

In a strange way, I quite like this portrait. It certainly shows parts of her personality and character, even without the eye contact.
