A Song About Huskies

by Snow Dogs

First of all, thank you so much for the hearts and stars for my northern lights captures yesterday pushing them to the top of the popular pages.

We visited an animal farm in the morning despite the temperature being -32C when we arrived. We saw huskies, horses and reindeer all used for either riding or pulling sleds or sleighs. The farm hand called them meat engines, hay engines and lichen engines. Our granddaughter could not tolerate the cold so she had to be transported away a bit before the end of the tour.

On the way back we had to stop by the fell side some hundreds of metres up as the sun appeared partly above the horizon around noon. The cold air formed ice crystals on top of the sun clearly producing an ice crystal pillar. The extra shows the husky that really loved people and their hugs. The other extra shows the chilly farm.
