The holly and the ivy

That’s the theme for Susan’s Christmas card this year. She tells me that all the items in the first verse of the carol can be seen or inferred somewhere in the card. Her card comes to you all with our very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

The last of the Christmas presents were wrapped and finalised by me while Susan made some minced pies and iced her cake.

This afternoon we visited Doreen to give her her Christmas presents so she could open them. She listened to a fine singer yesterday and she has plenty of other activities planned over the Christmas period. She’s really enjoying living in care.
