Queensday... what's left of it.

Today is Queensday, the birthday of our queen's mother. Usually this is a great day filled with festivities and orange-coloured people everywhere and people selling just about everything on the street.

Only today did one complete lunatic drive with his car towards the bus with the royal family, killing 5 people and wounding about a dozen others.

In most cities all festivities were cancelled.
In Groningen you could hardly notice the effect and I'm not sure if there was anything cancelled at all.

This guy on the picture was earning his money by selling eggs which then could be thrown at him :)
