Freida's Cafe and Bar

Near where I have my office, in the small West Lynn "village" there are a number of establishments that lend character to the area. One such is/was this old butcher shop. Established in 1905 by Charles Norgrove, there was a butcher here from then until about six months ago. Indeed for most of that time the butchers who owned and ran the shop were descendants of the original owner.

Ater making a concerted move towards selling only free range pork and chicken (all our beef and lamb is free range), the last butcher here sold out when the competition from an upmarket supermarket selling only organic meats proved too much. Now we have yet another cafe. Not really needed in an area with many cafes here already.
