Christmas Eve!

This is the main event for us European lot, so spent much of the day cooking.
Did have a cuppa with my nearly next door neighbour and a look at their kitchen decorating. They told me how to light an English Xmas pudding with brandy. This is the first year of having one as part of the Xmas dinner.

We had roast lamb, JO's "veggie crown" and six different veg! Then the pudding. This was home made by a friend, and had special label and verse as you can see in the photo.
It was a fine pudding, but only I like fruit pudding/cake etc! Just as well, I had made ice cream as back up!

Then lovely evening in front of the fire opening presents.
Just the four of us, as travel restrictions and old age has hampered others from joining us this year.
