Aboriginal Connections

I am really looking forward to visiting the Songlines exhibition in the New year. It is being staged at the Box in Plymouth, and it is the first time it has been seen outside Australia. I read that it is the largest exhibition of works by Indigenous Australian artists ever held in the UK. I won't attempt to describe here what Songlines are, but for anyone interested it is worth doing a search of "Aboriginal Songlines". 
All my granddaughters enjoy arts and crafts and today the eldest was inspired by looking at pictures of Aboriginal Dot Paintings. This was her first attempt at recreating this style. Sorry the drawing is not all in focus, but I think it gives the general idea.
