Ripples of Gold….. on New Years Day.

Maisie heads into deeper waters for her first swim of 2022 in our special river pool. It’s an idyllic spot, down the river bank and hidden from view by big over-hanging trees. Parts of the pool would be waist-deep and locals who know about it plunge into the cool waters on very hot days. A beautiful sunny New Year’s Day, not too hot with a cooling breeze…. You’re not going to believe this, but as I was writing this a lovely song by “The Grateful Dead” called “Ripples” was played on the radio…. Yay!
