Happy healthy hen

Some great colours on this girl's head with no manipulation at all.

This is a black rock hen, great egg layers and they love life in the great outdoors. Tomorrow I'll be constructing my veg garden's protective net/frame to keep the little b*ggers from tearing up everything that I plant.

Ducks still doing well keeping the slugs down. Haven't actually seen 1 slug since the ducks arrived.
