Leaning

This pool outside our back gate shouldn’t be there at all, but there has been so much rain that the ground can’t absorb any more water. I rather like this photo. I like the way the trees are leaning towards the water and the submerged grass is sending up slender green shoots through the water. And I like the way you can see the reflection of the fence even though the fence itself is hidden behind the trees.

Our Estate AGM has had to be cancelled. There is too much Covid anxiety and uncertainty around. So I spent a good part of the day turning a face-to-face meeting into an online voting process. Not the same at all.
