Life in a Northern Town

Brontë Parsonage

Sarah and I picked up a few geocaches in Haworth, browsed the independent shops, ran into a lovely ex Blipper (Lupes!), ate cake and gazed at the Brontë Parsonage.

I could try to wax lyrical about the legacy of the three women who lived and worked in this house, but I don’t feel equipped to add anything new. What did cross my mind was all the time we spend 200 years later, gazing at the bookshelves behind folk on Teams and Zoom, and I wondered how many of the sisters’ books feature on them (hopefully all dog-eared and well-thumbed rather than just for show). I know, I’m an old romantic…..

Almost deserted Main Street in extras.

I don’t even know where to start on Boris……
