Hurrah!

Woke up to gorgeous winter sunshine which lasted all day!! See England, you CAN do it!  Super excited as mbfiatw* Jean was coming for the day - although we video call regularly, we haven't actually seen each other f2f since 14th August 2019. We both took lateral flow tests just to be on the safe side and I'm struck by what a weird world we live in now where such a thing is part of the departure procedure for a day out, as is taking photos while wearing a mask......

As usual, we spent much of the afternoon at The Fox and Raven (my fourth day in a row of patronizing this hostelry!!) over a leisurely late lunch - in fact we were eventually the only ones still there. Then followed a comfy at home evening that included our watching the BBC adaptation of Emma, some news and of course fine tuning our solution to all world issues, most importantly deciding the appropriate fate for our yet again disgraced party-going-during-lockdown Bojo.
