Red in tooth and claw.

I know this is a bit of a gross blip but it’s the reality of the wild. It’s all that’s left of a pigeon that frequented our garden until a sparrowhawk swooped on it last week, killed it, pecked it apart and flew off with the carcass. It was quite an event to watch, as the sparrowhawk ruthlessly went about it’s business and stared around at any potential threat. The whole thing took about 30 minutes in total.
