I am astonished by this phone camera. I was simultaneously using my SLR on several second exposures, tripod, cable release as one does, yet this seems to have captured a greater tonal range in its raw state. Sure, I may be disappointed when I see this bigger, and no doubt with some processing the SLR's RAW will be far superior - but still I am impressed. An evening where the day eases softly into night, the birdsong fading with the light, and the reds and deep blues echo the crisp chill of the air.
