rat proof

In a cunning plan, I have set a line of noisy bottles outside my door, so when the crafty rats try to sneak into my room I will hear them, scream and hopefully scare them off.

It was in fact the rats who gave me the idea, after knocking a few of them over outside my door in the first place, alerting me to their presence before they scuttled off down the stairs back to god knows where.

It's kind of the rats, to give me a helpful security mechanism, but I can't help but feel dirty all over knowing they've been as close as my bedroom door.
