Something Else On the Rose Bush

This little piece of real estate is proving to be home to an amazing number of creatures. All I seem to have to do is go out there and stand by the fence, slip into a kind of soft focus, and I find something I've never seen before. This beetle has very subtle coloring that absolutely matches the edge of the leaf he sits upon--how cool is that?! Plus he almost has fur--soft white hairs on his legs and shell.

It is a Metallic Wood-boring Beetle (Buprestid) and doesn't sound particularly beneficial, leaving me with a dilemma. And it was further identified as Dicera hornii, in case you are keeping track.
