Not quite.

I’ve just given up on the jigsaw for the afternoon as I’ve had to put a light on.

I finished the willow leaves the other day and this is my second session on the water background but the nuances of shade need daylight and that, apart from shape, is the only way I find to tackle such a plain area.

I’ve included the excerpt from the book Lost Words which is illustrated on the back.The jigsaw might have to wait until I return from my trip to the SW.

Just discovered via blipper Freespiral that Johnny Flynn (Emma, Detecrorists) has collaborated with Robert Macfarlane during lockdown to produce an album ‘Lost in the Cedar Wood’. 
Really like his singing so will have to take a closer look at that.
