An Avid Lensman

Marble - in the Sky...

Rendered almost useless over the past 24 hours, tiredness and lethargy personified, no doubt the side-effects of the build up of the 'meds'...

So, this morning's (v early) is a straightforward shot of vapour trails over just-coming into bud willow scrub (I think). This mass of similar looking foreground is offset by the sky which have gone through a few Photoshop layers. I didn't want a foreground that competed with that sky; then the eye wanders between the two and can't settle on either. Here, the eye accepts the foreground but stays confidently where it should be.

Marble effect or not, it's certainly quite a far cry from it's rather dour original.

Hope you can all have a more fruitful Sunday than I have so far and at least get a few good blips - it seems to have dulled over quite miserably here, now.

Lens is Sigma 70-200mm f2.8

Don't forget the 'L' key for large
