Peace & quiet

An oasis of peace in a very busy city centre.

Hair appointment day, followed by a walk through a bustling Grainger Market, a browse at a busy Waterstones and a walk to M & S food hall up a swarming Market Street! It must have been pay day.

After that, I walked back down to Chinatown, where I was parked, but took a moment at St Andrew's, just taking in the peace of the oldest church in Newcastle. It is nestled in amongst the shops, bars & offices.

Savouring a Saturday with no work demands.
