Here I Sit ....

Percy's current favourite sleeping place is on the dining room table. 

The table is also home to my sewing machine, and a quilt that I'm working on. 

Naturally he thinks the quilt is a nice soft nest for him, and he spends the day there, between breakfast and dinner ... leaving a mat of white hair generously distributed. 

I have to cover the quilt and the sewing machine with an old tablecloth, which he accepts as a welcome addition to his comfort.

Should I wish to sew during the hours of daylight, I have to ask him politely to shift ..... this is the response.  ...
