Rosemount Buildings

A busy day.  I started with helping out with some leafleting this morning.  Rosemount Buildings on Gardener's Crescent is a fabulous building.  It was built in 1858 to provide model social housing and was one of the first brick (rather than stone) built residential schemes in Edinburgh.  The different coloured bricks were used to create pattern and highlight features.  It's a got a great communal quadrangle in the middle from where you can see all the colourful doors to the flats.

I headed to bowls in the afternoon to play with Norma in the pairs league as her regular partner wasn't available.  We were very pleased with our 20 - 3 win.

A fairly quick turn around when I got home to head to my yoga class at the North Merchiston Club.  It was a great class with Fay - although hard work!
