Sunday 3 May 2009: Philosophical
It wasn't a great day for Matt and his team-mates at the Haddington mini-rugby tournament today: tough opposition and baked-hard pitches made for a few skinned knees and banged heads.
Still, they played well as a team and tried their hardest, and that's the main thing.
I'm not sure the parent shouting from the touchline like a shaven-headed rabid pitbull would agree - but it takes all sorts. Just glad my lads don't play for that team.
