More Snow

Storm Malik blew through during the night but this far north it was just a windy night, nothing special. However, as a bonus it delivered about 10 centimeters of wet fresh snow. This is very welcome with visitors from Britain on the way, but did involve me in a day of snow clearing.
An extra job was checking the flattish roof of the bathroom. The chimney sweep is coming in just over a week and he expects the way up to the chimney to be cleared of snow and ice before he arrives. I managed the bathroom roof and about half the ladder across the roof, up to the chimney. I'll do the rest another day.
Here is the veranda of the Red House. It hasn't been cleared at all this winter, but after taking the picture I cleared about half of it. In about a month the sun will be higher in the sky and blaze down onto this veranda, making it a great place to sit and drink your morning tea.
